365 Day Photo Project: Day 70 / 71
I forgot to post my cell phone rain picture yesterday so here it is now:
Rainy window picture from the HTC Incredible
And then there’s today’s SUPER exciting photo. I told my roommates I ordered a THRILLING surprise for our apartment… but they never expected a 6′ Colorado flag! Nico is pretty excited about it. I was planning on getting a normal sized flag, but for some reason it was half the price to get a giant one. Bargain!
More tomorrow
365 Day Photo Project: Day 64
Sorry for all the cell phone pix in the last few days, but this one was too cute to resist.
Peter and Joann, the cutest couple on the ENTIRE planet. Literally. The entire universe, maybe, even.
D’awwwwwwwww. Look at their cuteness. Peter’s head is like the same size as all of Joann’s torso and head. Adorable.
365 Day Photo Project: Day 58
Stuck in the laundry room with nothing to do…
Taken on the HTC Incredible. Guess what it is? A washer! Yay, laundry room pictures. I increased the contrast, brightness and saturation in Photoshop because I realized that if you do that, it kind of looks like a close up picture of someone’s eye. Cool cool.
365 Day Photo Project: Day 53 / Bollywood Dance Class
It’s a snowy, snowy day at BU (aren’t we all surprised?) Sadly, even though its been terrible all day, they only just canceled all classes after 5 PM… aka my one fun class (power yoga) that I was looking forward to instead of Spanish, which I wasn’t really looking forward to. At least now I feel less guilty about taking my 1.5 hour nap after Spanish. Unfortunately I keep forgetting my 7D on these snowy days because I love the view from the theology building when it’s snowing. So instead, another cell phone camera picture. I sharpened it in photoshop, then applied an action called “soft and faded” and then cooled down the color a bit until I got the cool watercolor look that I was going for. Click on the picture for a larger version.
On the left is Marsh Chapel (all you can see is a tiny bit of the Martin Luther King Jr. flying birds statue) and the College of Arts and Sciences. In the middle is Commonwealth Ave with Warren Towers in the background. On the right is student housing, offices and shops with the massive Photonics building on the top right.
And now, in stark contrast to the snowy drearyness of the above scene, I offer you “Khwab Dekhe” from the Bollywood movie Race. This is the first song we’re dancing to in my Bollywood dance class on Monday nights. The choreography isn’t the same, but it is just as fun
I’m taking the class with my two roommates, Nico and Rebecca, and so far it is AWESOME.
365 Day Photo Project: Day 47
Not the fanciest photos today, but I cut an inch off my hair and shortened the layers… so I thought I’d post a picture of that.
Taken on my lovely HTC Incredible
Like it? It’s not very different from my usual. If any of you are in Boston and are looking for a new hairstylist I would HIGHLY recommend Justin at Jean Pierre (on Newbury Street). I’ve been going to him for the last couple of years and he always does an EXCELLENT job.
On a totally unrelated note: since I was already downloading pictures from my phone, I thought I’d post this one of my friend Peter. Peter has a giant ball pit in his living room, which I think is just about the coolest thing ever, so I took this picture of Peter in the ball pit last time I was over there.
Now that’s awesome.
